PREREQUISITES FOR COOPERATIVE PRE-REGISTRATION APPLICATION

1. Purpose

    These prerequisites are provided to guide the Cooperative Sponsor Committee to apply for Cooperative pre-registration in accordance with GP12: Cooperative Pre-registration Guidelines (Amendment) 2021.

2. Basic Requirements of Establishing a Cooperative

    Before proceeding with the application, the following must be fulfilled:

    2.1 the main purpose of establishing a Cooperative;

    2.2 at least 20 prospective members who have common needs.

    2.3 Cooperative operating areas exceeding one state or the whole of Malaysia must obtain prior approval from the Commission through the nearest SKM office;
